Association of Texas Small School Bands
Created in 1991, ATSSB is an organization dedicated to promoting the interests of small school (Class AAAA and smaller beginning in 2014-15) bands in the state of Texas. The focus of ATSSB is on serving the needs of small school band students, directors, parents, and administrators.

We provide the public as well as policy makers with information about the many ways that arts education benefits our students and our state. We also provide GoArts supporters with timely information about proposals that may help or hurt arts education in Texas so they can be more effective advocates.
Texas Bandmasters Association
The Texas Bandmasters Association hosts the largest annual state bandmasters association convention in the country with over 6500 people in attendance, including 2400 band directors and more than 600 industry-related exhibit booths at the Annual TBA Convention/Clinic.

The Rhythm Trainer
The Rhythm Trainer is a free, Flash-based program for learning and practicing rhythm. There are two types of exercises; A Mode, where you click in the rhythm you hear, and B Mode, where you see a rhythm and choose the sound that matches. At the end of your session, you can email your results to anyone (for example, your teacher) and they can then see how you are doing.
This game is designed to help music students learn literacy and basic instrument fingerings. Students previously had little or no feedback related to these topics outside of their lesson. Now students may improve fingering and literacy skills by gaining feedback at home at any time.

The mission of Beginning Band Boot Camp is to provide a basic crash course for all wind band instruments. In the future, we hope to add percussion to the course, but for now, we are strictly focusing on winds.
